About the Company
This opportunity is with a globally renowned digital creative agency, partnering with leading entertainment and technology brands.
For this role, you will be embedded in the in-house marketing and creative team of a globally recognized gaming company based in Tokyo. While officially part of the agency, you’ll collaborate closely with both global creatives and the Japan-based marketing/content team to bring compelling brand experiences to life across digital touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities
- Write engaging and high-quality copy for web, email, mobile, and in-console messages
- Create content for games, services, campaigns, and brand storytelling initiatives
- Work closely with omnichannel and creative teams across multiple time zones to deliver polished, impactful copy
- Ensure all content adheres to editorial standards, timelines, and marketing objectives
- Review briefs, participate in ideation sessions, and contribute to content planning
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 3–7 years of copywriting or editorial experience, either in-house or at an agency
- Native or fluent-level English writing and editing skills (this role involves writing exclusively in English)
- Comfortable producing both long- and short-form digital copy, ideally for gaming, tech, or entertainment brands
- Strong attention to craft, detail, tone, and adherence to brand guidelines
- Experience working with global teams and managing cross-functional feedback
- Personally passionate about games, media, or consumer tech
- Japanese language skills or cultural fluency are a plus, but not required
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or collaborative tools like Miro
- Basic understanding of SEO and content strategy
- CRM or campaign writing experience is a plus
Contract Details & Interview Process
Employment Type: Fixed-term contract (12 months) via global agency, with a 6-month probation period
Salary: ¥5,000,000 – ¥7,000,000 (based on experience and skills)
Location: Tokyo-based (hybrid/flexible with some in-person meetings as required)
Start Date: ASAP (ideally within ~6 weeks)
